Hugo Vau, that’s the name of the surfer who can have a new Guinness record for his incredible feat. The 36-year-old Portuguese surfed a 35-meter wave in Nazaré, Portugal, or at least that’s what the evaluation committee must certify to get the recognition. The current record is held by Garrett McNamara with a registered wave of 23.77 m, incredible.

This event has been nominated for the Big Wave Awards of the World Surfing League.
