The guys at Unit Surf Pool have created a wave pool, which, as they define “is the world’s first floating surfing pool and biggest and most efficient artificial stationary wave in the world.” The concept of this pool is simple, “where there is water, there is surf.” A concept that we really like. The technology really seems simple, several fans bring to the surface the water that is then displaced through the pool.

In the video we can see that the pool is stable and also provides good waves with which to practice your surf. This pool can be purchased and it takes approximately 2 weeks to assemble.

An interesting question would be if this new technology is up to the Kelly Slater wave pool.

If you like the idea and want to try it you can do it, since it will be put into operation in a short time. The pool will be located on a lake in Germany.
