We already have the winner of the Quiksilver XXL Biggest Wave, which awards the biggest wave of the year! The winner of this award was the Brazilian Rodrigo Koxa who, on November 8, 2017 in Nazaré (Portugal), surfing on a wave of 24.38 meters. Oo!

This award also includes a new record, which was held by the Hawaiian Garrett McNamara in 2011, with a wave of 23.77 meters. Also with this new record, Rodrigo Koxa, has entered the “Guinness World Records”.

The surfer, after receiving his prize, commented: “I am very happy and this is the best day of my life, to make my dream come true”.
